User Data Event Africa App collect and store users' names and emails to enable authenticated logins and enable communication & updates about the app. Child Exploitation Merchants may not offer goods or services, post, or upload Materials that exploit or abuse children, including but not limited to images or depictions of child abuse or sexual abuse, or present children in a sexual manner. Harassment, Bullying, Defamation, and Threats Merchants may not offer goods or services, or post or upload Materials that harass, bully, defame or threaten a specific individual. Hateful Content "Merchants may not use the Services to promote or condone hate or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, medical condition, veteran status, or other forms of discriminatory intolerance. Merchants may not use the Services to promote or support organizations, platforms or people that: (i) promote or condone such hate; or (ii) threaten or condone violence to further a cause." Illegal Activities Merchants may not offer goods or services, or post or upload Materials, that contravene or that facilitate or promote activities that contravene, the laws of the jurisdictions in which they operate or do business. Event Africa App Notice and Takedown Procedure Event Africa supports the protection of intellectual property and asks its users to do the same. It is our policy to expeditiously respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Botswana Companies and Intellectual Property Authority Copyright Act (“CIPA”), the text of which can be found at the Botswana Copyright Office website, https://commerce.gov It is expected that all users of any part of Event Africa will comply with applicable copyright laws. If, however, we receive proper notification of claimed copyright infringement, our response to such notices will include removing or disabling access to material claimed to be the subject of infringing activity and/or terminating the user’s account. Please use the following form to report content on Event Africa that you believe violates or infringes your copyright. If you are not sure if copyright laws protect the material, we suggest that you first contact a lawyer. Event Africa Trademark Infringement Notice and Policy Event Africa supports the protection of intellectual property and asks our users to do the same. Malicious and Deceptive Practices Merchants may not use the Services to transmit malware or host phishing pages. Merchants may not perform activities or upload or distribute Materials that harm or disrupt the operation of the Services or other infrastructure of Event Africa App or others, including our third-party providers. Merchants may not use the Services for deceptive commercial practices or any other illegal or deceptive activities. Personal, Confidential, and Protected Health Information Merchants may not post or upload any Materials that contain personally identifiable information, sensitive personal information, or confidential information, such as credit card numbers, confidential national ID numbers, or account passwords without consent from the person to whom the information belongs or who is otherwise authorized to provide such consent. Merchants may not use the Services to collect, store, or process any protected health information subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”), any applicable health privacy regulation or any other applicable law governing the processing, use, or disclosure of protected health information. Restricted Items Merchants may not offer goods or services that are, or appear to be, Restricted Items as defined in the Acceptable Use Policy. Self-Harm Merchants may not offer goods or services, or post or upload Materials that promote self-harm. Spam Merchants may not use the Services to transmit unsolicited commercial electronic messages. Terrorist Organizations Merchants may not offer goods or services, or post or upload Materials that imply or promote support or funding of, or membership in, a terrorist organization.
